Editorial Standards

Editorial Policy

Our editorial policy is designed to keep the useful part of a comparison separate from the marketing around it. We aim to write for the person making a decision, not for the keyword alone.

How we write

Useful detail comes before a dramatic verdict

We try to explain the trade-offs behind a choice rather than forcing every page into a single winner-and-loser format.

Content should distinguish between facts we can verify, observations from hands-on use when available, and general guidance based on published information.

1. No invented testing

We do not describe a service as personally tested unless that testing actually happened.

2. No false certainty

If details vary by device, location or plan, the page should say so.

3. No keyword stuffing

Search terms belong where they help the reader, not in every paragraph.

4. Corrections matter

Material factual errors should be corrected instead of repeated across the site.

Commercial separation

A commercial relationship should not be disguised as an editorial fact

If a page contains an affiliate relationship or another commercial connection, that relationship should be disclosed in a way a normal reader can understand.

Commercial arrangements should not change the basic criteria used to explain device support, plan terms or other factual details.
